Lone Wulff Ranch Founder, Rachel Wulff, grew up on the property. A true country girl at heart, she recently returned to Yolo County to help her Mother revitalize the ranch.

Rachel has spent many years working in the broadcasting industry as a TV and radio host, reporter and producer. Along the way she began renovating homes—bringing 30 homes in New Orleans back to life. Recently, this Davis, California native returned to her roots. She is living a lifelong dream of renovating her family homestead.

Property History

The property was originally owned by the Hext brothers, who came over from England in the mid 1800’s and settled on the property. They built a 2-story home there in the late 1800’s. The original structure was box-like with a simple Greek-Revival farmhouse design, but over the years alterations were made to it like a den and a side porch.

Lone Wulff Ranch offers a tranquil setting in a central location for up to 150 people. Here in the wonderful countryside, you can dine and dance out under the stars. You can hear the crickets and frogs in the nearby slough or provide your own music soundtrack for your perfect day/night. There are several picturesque locations on the property for your ceremony.
